Plant Stress Biology

The natural environment for plants is composed of a complex set of abiotic stresses and biotic stresses. Plant responses to these stresses are equally complex. My area of interest lies in studying the potential abiotic stressors and the mechanisms employed by the plant to cope up with them.

Plant Biotechnology

It deals with the introduction of desirable traits into plants through genetic modification.
